MORE ABOUT US
WE ARE CERTIFIED & LICENSED:
We are NAWT certified and licensed OWTS pumpers & inspectors for Summit County Environmental Health. Our family business has been serving Summit County since 1998 (formerly A&A Septic) so we have the knowledge and experience to care for your septic system and we genuinely care about our clients, you will experience friendly and quality service from start to finish..
The EPA recommends pumping every 3-5 years.
The need for pumping is to remove solids that build up over time. When solids reach 25-30% of your tanks 4' liquid depth a pump is due. We measure solids as part of our initial system inspection to determine whether or not a pump is due. We have the utmost integrity, if a pump is not needed (or required) we simply inspect and test all of your systems key components, provide a written repot and charge an inspection fee only.
The EPA recommends inspecting every 1-3 years.
It is important for the health and longevity of your septic system to have regular septic system inspections. We are licensed to perform inspections for Summit County Environmental Health and perform basic inspections for peace of mind to make sure your system is operating as designed, Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OTWS) Use Permit Inspections for real estate transactions or building permits and inspections and pumps for Short-Term Rental License applications and renewals as well. There are great resources on the EPA website here if you are new to septics.
We have the tools and equipment to help diagnose and troubleshoot system issues. We have inspection cameras (CCTV), sonar locators, jetting machines, descaling machines, snakes, excavators, and years of experience. Summit County Septic will go above and beyond to help remedy whatever septic troubles you may be experiencing.
Septic inspections start at $175. The cost to pump is based on tank size, ease of lid access and ease of pumping logistics. Tank sizes are generally 1,000-gallons, 1,250-gallons, 1,500-gallons and 2,000-gallons, some systems have a dosing chamber as well (siphon or effluent pump). If you don't know your system size, that's okay, we can find out.
Top notch service here!! I can't recommend Summit County Septic enough. They are always super responsive and go out of their way to help. If you have a choice, I would highly recommend using them!
Kyle and Emma were great! We had someone throw a rock down out cleanout, which caused a sewer backup. He was able to get out there promptly to diagnose the issue and come up with a plan. There were a lot of unfortunate obstacles which escalated the costs, but Kyle and Emma were able to work with me to come up with a payment plan that worked for both parties. I hope I don't have any further clogged sewer issues, but if I do, they will be my first call!
Kyle is knowledgeable and professional. I recently had a "overflowing" septic tank. He came to my house immediately, evaluated the situation , took care of the issue, and gave recommendations. Honest and easy to work with. A & A is AAA!
They were able to accommodate our tight timeline for septic pumping/inspection and provided courteous, competent service at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend them.
They responded quickly and was able to fix our septic issue the next day, which was a Saturday! Tom was so professional and explained what he was doing and what the problem was. I would HIGHLY recommend
Kyle was incredibly responsive and helped us out with a frozen septic pipe. We will definitely recommend him to everyone!
